Hello there! Welcome to my blog TheLonelyTreks, where I write about my travel and trekking experiences.  My name is T Sundup (Sandy).  I have always believed that to travel is to discover.  Discover new places, new people, culture, their way of life and in the process, discover yourself.  In fact, traveling is a school in itself that teaches you so much.  I am fortunate that I grew up in an environment that gave me an opportunity to indulge in outdoor activities right from my childhood.   Therefore Traveling, Trekking, Camping, Fishing, Photography, Bird Watching, Simply Watching nature in its Glory  and similar such outdoor activities have become a passion with me since a very long time. 

I feel very fortunate to have been born in a beautiful country like India, which has so much diversity in people, their culture, region, religion, language, food habits, dressing and what not. There is so much to see in this beautiful amazing country with one of the most ancient civilizations, India.
